The Bern Helvetics topped the Holland Halberdiers, 8-4, in Romantic League action at The Conche. The game was highlighted by the performance of Bern center fielder Diego DaVinci. The loss drops Holland to 1-2.

Thibaut Lenoir had a big 2-run triple for the Helvetics in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Bern leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Orlando Pininferino and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Helvetics ahead, 3-0.

"We took home the win," said DaVinci. "What's not to like?"
