The Paris Placeholders faced a tough opponent in Bern pitcher Bronislav Novotny, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Conche by a final score of 4-3. Novotny went 8.2 innings and allowed 4 runs. Pierre Chevalier, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Bern drops to 2-2.

Filiberto Dore, who is the 3rd-best prospect in the Placeholders organization, had a direct impact on the outcome. Dore contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Paris up, 4-3.
