Helvetics Get 5-3 Win Versus Paris
The Bern Helvetics handed the Paris Placeholders a 5-3 defeat at The Conche. First Baseman Stefan Papadakos starred for Bern. He was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs. The win has Bern at 3-2.

Papadakos contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Bern in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-1, Papadakos took a sinker from Ben Joppe and stroked the double to center. His 2nd double of the season allowed the Helvetics to leap in front, 4-3.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Papadakos. "But I like how we're playing right now."
