The Paris Placeholders knocked off the Bern Helvetics, 5-4, at The Conche. Ademaro Kolb was a big reason Paris won. The right fielder was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The loss makes Bern 3-3.

Had Kolb not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Kolb hit a run-scoring single. The Placeholders took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Kolb.
