Sicilian and Paris got after it at Cosa Nostra Stadium.
Vinzenz Bieber brought his A-game to help Sicilian defeat the Paris Placeholders, 3-0. Bieber got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 8.1 innings. He allowed no runs.
The Capos had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 3-0, Sicilian, with two out. Paris, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Omar Villarreal dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he grounded out.
With their winning streak at 4, the Capos have raced to a strong start this season.
