Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Milan Insubres and Venetian Venators.

The timely hitting of Desiderius Miller helped the Venetian Venators down the Milan Insubres, 5-3. Miller was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk for the Venators. Billy Stevens was the winner. He's now 1-1. The loser was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Pedrag Ragulovic. Picking up his 1st save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Sadiq Kotta.

Tied up with the Insubres in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Venators got a boost from pitcher Billy Stevens. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Stevens saw a 1-1 fastball from Pedrag Ragulovic and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Venetian on top, 3-2.

Stevens called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
