The Celtic Curse picked up a win at Heemstra Paleis, knocking off the Holland Halberdiers, 6-2. On the mound for Celtic was right-hander Mario Koellerer. He played a key role in the triumph. Koellerer went the distance for Celtic. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. The win puts Celtic at 48-76.

Celtic used a timely hit from 26-year old shortstop Teodor Jankiewicz to get the win. The shortstop delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Curse on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was huge.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Celtic skipper Lookia Wookia.
