Helvetics Suffer One-Run Loss at Venetian
Alessandro Baffi, who is the 5th-best prospect in the Venators organization, was locked in. The left-hander led the Venetian Venators to a 5-4 win against the Bern Helvetics at Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium. The triumph puts Venetian at 70-58 for the season.

The Venators got a big at-bat from right fielder Karel Dvorak. For the game, Dvorak went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Venetian a 5-4 lead.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Baffi said.
