|
No one was more impactful than Arrigo Recchi in the 6-2 Paris win over Celtic. Recchi, who is rated as the 59th best prospect by BNN, went 2-4 with a double and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Anatolii Poznansky, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities. The win elevated the Placeholders to 66-64.
Paris used a well-timed hit by Laurent Chaillou to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Placeholders ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Chaillou, "one at-bat at a time."
