Sicilian turned a good effort from starter Vinzenz Bieber into a win over the Venetian Venators at Cosa Nostra Stadium. The final score was 9-2. With the win, Sicilian upped its record to 79-52.

The tide might have turned in the top of the fifth, had not Vinzenz Bieber made a big pitch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Venators trailing 3-0, he retired Micah Cook when the Venetian pitcher struck out.
