Matadors 12-4 Winners Versus Holland
The Madrid Matadors captured an easy win, 12-4, over the Holland Halberdiers at Matadors Stadium. Manny Rael led the offensive barrage, going 2-for-5 for Madrid. The win for the Matadors lifted their record to 68-68.

The Matadors got a big hit from catcher Cheslav Palmihin. Facing Holland pitcher Feliks Jukhtanov in the bottom of the seventh, Palmihin pounded a 3-run home run to center. His 14th home run of the season put the Matadors ahead, 12-3.

In postgame comments to the Madrid Chronicle, Palmihin said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
