Cosa Nostra Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Sicilian Capos and Bern Helvetics.

Sicilian pitcher Dorel Brostiuc did his part in helping his team beat the Bern Helvetics, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Mircea Otvos notched his 12th save in 13 chances.

The Capos got a big at-bat from first baseman Scott Feeney. For the game, Feeney went 2 for 4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 13th triple of the season gave Sicilian a 2-1 lead.

"Winning never gets dull," said Feeney.

The first-place Capos, at 83-55, lead the Division by 3 games.
