The Prague Legionnaires trumped the Thessaloniki Companions, 14-5, at Stefánik Park. Prague second baseman Nicolae Iofciu was terrific. He went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. With the loss, Thessaloniki drops to 1-1.

The Legionnaires got a big hit from pitcher Jonathan Sanchez. Facing Thessaloniki pitcher Robin Sheirlaw in the bottom of the sixth, Sanchez pounded a grand slam home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Legionnaires ahead, 13-5.

"It's always fun to score a lot of runs," said Iofciu.
