Istanbul Stopped, 5-3, by Munich
|
The Munich Feldherren beat the Istanbul Trojans, 5-3. Munich pitcher and Saint-Priest-sous-Aixe, France, native Bernard Valentin led the way. Reliever Dalemir Sleboda picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Borya Mochalygin, who is rated as the 90th best prospect by BNN, took the loss. Munich goes to 2-2.
Munich took a 4-2 lead on Egiodeo Odescalchi's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Odescalchi hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Istanbul pitcher Borya Mochalygin visibly frustrated.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Munich manager Lookia Wookia.
