Legionnaires Come Up Short at Oslo, 6-5
The Oslo Valkyries beat the Prague Legionnaires, 6-5, in part because of right fielder Carlos Quevedo. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Mattia Reale, who is tied for 10th in the EL with a 1.29 WHIP, was the winner. He's now 9-8. The loser was Ari Salo. Hunfried Martin earned his 14th save in 21 chances.

Giovani Martini helped out the Oslo cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
