Insubres Blank Paris, Feroci Winner
Thursday, April 1st , 1926
Corrado Feroci was in a mood to talk following the Milan Insubres contest against the Paris Placeholders, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Placeholders, 1-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Feroci said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Paris on a 7-hitter, allowing 4 walks and racking up 2 strikeouts.
