Capos, Nowicki Silence Paris, 4-0
Wednesday, April 7th , 1926
Sicilian Capos hurler Mariusz Nowicki was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Paris Placeholders, shutting them out, 4-0, on 2 hits.
"Mariusz was very aggressive tonight," Sicilian manager Lookia Wookia said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
Through 9 innings, Nowicki tallied 5 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks.
"He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Lookia Wookia said. "Nowicki has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
