Legros Takes RL's Best Bat Award Wednesday, September 1st , 1926 Alexandre Legros of the Milan Insubres spoke softly and carried a big stick in August and was justifiably proclaimed the Romantic League Batter of the Month. The Insubres center fielder rapped out a .410 batting average with 34 hits in 83 at-bats, drove in 18, scored 23 runs and chalked up a .438 on-base percentage. Posting a .317 batting average to date, Legros has 5 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
