Columbus Cavaliers starter Manny Garcia turned in a top-notch performance against the Anchorage Whalers at Huntington Park. The result was a win for the Cavaliers, 6-2. The Cavaliers saw their record improve to 11-10.

Garcia was in the zone all game. He frustrated Anchorage hitters while giving the Cavaliers 8.2 innings of quality work. Garcia threw 110 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 9 punchouts.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Garcia.
