Monongahelas Deal Lightning 3-2 Loss
In a low-scoring affair between the Pittsburgh Monongahelas and the Louisville Lightning, pitcher Josh Phillips was the difference between victory and defeat. The Pittsburgh right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Monongahelas win. Pittsburgh is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Monongahelas procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Jonathan Mederos. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

After the game, Pittsburgh manager Lookie Wookie applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
