Keys Win Thriller, 4-3
|
Kansas City Keys starter Kyle Galinis was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Louisville Lightning, 4-3. Kansas City reliever Eric Grossman was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Antonio Martinez took the loss. The 4th-place Keys are 11-14.
Kansas City won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Antonio Martinez on the mound for Louisville, second baseman Steve Manning hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Keys fans to their feet.
Galinis said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
