Spirited fans greeted the Wheat City Whiskey Jacks for their clash with the Pittsburgh Monongahelas.

A 3-RBI performance from first baseman Andy Joice, who is tied for 9th in the FL with a .546 slugging percentage, led the Pittsburgh Monongahelas to a win over the Wheat City Whiskey Jacks, 7-3. The winner was Harry Rodriguez, who threw 100 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits.

Pittsburgh used a timely hit from Roger Coady to get the win. The designated hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Monongahelas on top, 7-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Coady said.
