The home crowd had a good time watching the Anchorage Whalers and Sacramento Sluggers get after it.

Sacramento starter Aaron Trevizo pitched well against the Anchorage Whalers at Cyberdyne Systems Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Sacramento has 4 straight wins, Anchorage 4 straight losses.

The Sluggers got a big hit from third baseman John Boykin. In the bottom of the fifth, Boykin pounded a solo home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Sluggers ahead, 3-1.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Trevizo told the Sacramento Gazette.
