The Pittsburgh Monongahelas picked up a win at Huntington Park, knocking off the Columbus Cavaliers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Ralph Francisco was a big reason why. Pittsburgh leads the Frontier League Heartland by 4½ games.

Roger Coady, the 25-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Coady contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Pittsburgh up, 4-3.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Pittsburgh manager Lookie Wookie. "It's usually not just one thing."
