Hitters Take Tight Tilt, 3-2
|
Hamilton got a strong outing from Jim Noseworthy as the Hitters defeated the Dallas Bulldogs, 3-2, at Swiss Chalet Stadium. Eric Chauvin got credit for the save for Hamilton. It was his 1st of the year. Early on, the Hitters, at 12-4, have excelled.
In the bottom of the third, Hamilton right fielder Scott Casto had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and one out, Casto stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 3-2, Hamilton. For the game, he went 1-4.
"We'll savor this win," Noseworthy told the Hamilton Today, "then get ready for the next game."
