Hitters Tagged with 4-1 Loss
|
Hamilton wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Jim Noseworthy, falling to the Columbia Crusaders, 4-1. Noseworthy threw 7.1 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Columbia reliever Jose Gallegos was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Jim Noseworthy took the loss. The win for the Crusaders lifted their record to 11-10.
Columbia took a 4-1 lead on Timothy Morrissey's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Morrissey hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Hamilton pitcher Alex Flores shaking his head.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Columbia manager Lookie Wookie.
