Raptor Boats Lose Again, 6-3, to Brawlers
Raleigh left fielder Ed Weatherstone had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Weatherstone was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI, even as Brooklyn beat the Raptor Boats, 6-3. The slumping Raptor Boats have dropped 6 in a row.

Also having an impact was third baseman Pat Roberson, who stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the second for Brooklyn. For the game, Roberson was 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
