Big Game from Ridenhour Not Enough, Raptor Boats Lose
Despite a great performance by Raleigh designated hitter Grant Ridenhour, the Brooklyn Brawlers defeated the Raptor Boats by the score of 12-11 at The Boatyard. Ridenhour went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 4 and driving in 4. Picking up the save was Armando Guterez, his 1st. Brooklyn has won 5 straight games.

Brooklyn relied on the bat of Sam Johnson to get the win. The center fielder ripped a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Brawlers ahead, 12-9. For the game, Johnson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
