Both teams had their chances, but the New York Revolution eventually prevailed.

The New York Revolution defeated the Hamilton Hitters, 4-3, in Continental League action at Citi Field 2012. New York pitcher Chris Rockel had a standout performance. Mike O'Brien recorded the save for New York, his 10th of the season.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Dave Redinger came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Hamilton pitcher George Luckwell, he hit a 1-1 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting New York on top, 4-3.

"Chris is tough when he's hitting his spots," said New York manager Lookie Wookie.

With the win, New York pushed its record to 15-11.
