Behind an impressive start by Jordan Merriweather, Columbia beat Mexico City, 3-0. The winning pitcher was Merriweather, now 5-3. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. With the win, Columbia raised its record to 15-15.
With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Dean Schloss barreled up a curveball from Chris Kelly. The result was a solo home run, putting the Crusaders in front, 2-0.
