|
NOVA right-hander Jesse Eyer helped his team edge Raleigh by the score of 3-2. Eyer kept the opposing lineup in check. David Irvegas earned the save for NOVA, his 8th of the year. The current losing streak for Raleigh has reached 12 games.
Ron Valcourt, the 25-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Valcourt contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put NOVA up, 3-2.
