Ray Longchamps was a vital contributor to the 7-5 New York victory over Norfolk. The Revolution left fielder went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. New York pitcher Josh Hiller got the win. He's now 4-1. Matt McGuire was tagged with the loss. Mike O'Brien, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 11th save.

Justin Halverson hit a 2-run triple off Matt McGuire in the top of the second, which put the Revolution in front, 2-0. Halverson had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.

In comments to the New York Chronicle, Halverson admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."

With the win, the Revolution have a record of 16-13.
