Missionaries Stumble, Lose to Mystique
A good performance from shortstop Corey Ellard helped the Music City Mystique defeat the Salt Lake City Missionaries, 10-4. Ellard went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Mystique. Music City pitcher Mike Zirk got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Esteban Rivera got the loss. The loss drops the Missionaries to 4-10.

With Music City trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Ellard hit a curveball from Esteban Rivera for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Mystique ahead, 2-1.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Ellard told the Music City Daily News.
