Palermo Southpaw Tosses 3-0 Shutout Tuesday, April 6th , 1926 The Brest Silver Knights met their match today in Palermo hurler Felix Christiansen. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Brest skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 3-0 victory, Christiansen whiffed 1 and gave up no walks. |
