Quintana Records 4-0 Shutout Against Brasov Wednesday, April 7th , 1926 All went well for Ramon Quintana of the Mogilev Huskies as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 4-0, over the Brasov Mustangs, limiting them to 2 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Quintana on the day. "Ramon's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Huskies manager . "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the Mogilev right-hander rang up 2 and surrendered no walks. "He didn't give us any second chances," said Mustangs manager . "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong." |
