Conference 2 Division 1 Champs Crowned: Zaporizhzhia HS Red Raiders
Saturday, April 10th , 1926
Zaporizhzhia HS Red Raiders starting pitcher Konstantine Fatkullin said celebrating a division championship never gets old.
"If this is what the outcome of every regular season was, I'd be a happy guy," he said. "It takes a lot of talent and determination to win a division like the Conference 2 Division 1."
The club's 23-11 record has allowed it to officially seal up the division title, for the 2nd time in franchise history.
The team's manager said it would be a "pure joy and pleasure" to be able to bring the 1st World Series title to Zaporizhzhia HS.

Munich HS Headed to the Playoffs
Friday, April 9th , 1926
The Munich HS Wild Horses will be going to the postseason.
While it remains to be seen if they will officially capture the Conference 2 Division 2 crown, the club will have a spot in the playoffs.
"It's a weight off our shoulders for sure," said the team manager.

Liam Stephenson Blanks Murcia HS, 8-0
Thursday, April 8th , 1926
In an outstanding mound performance, Birmingham HS Ivy starter Liam Stephenson fired a complete-game shutout against the Murcia HS Steamrollers at Birmingham HS Stadium.
Stephenson was the key to the 8-0 Birmingham HS win. The 16-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 9 hits and 6 walks he allowed.
"9 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
For this year, Stephenson has chalked up 3 wins and 2 losses in 7 starts with 28 strikeouts in 56 innings and a 3.70 ERA.
